Alive Technology is a level 1 B-BBEE micro entrprise started in 1999. Although we started off as a robotics research company, we have since evolved to providing smart technology solutions the local SME and corporates in South Africa.
Areas of expertise
Alive Technology provides solutions in the following areas
- Linux server support: all RPM base variants (eg. Redhat, Suse, Fedora, Centos etc..)
- advanced server solutions like high availability and clustering
- firewall and routers (eg. cisco, mikrotik)
- intrusion and prentration testing
- software development (using C, C++ or java) that run on linux servers
- embedded microcontroller applictions (using Microchip PIC processes or Raspberry PI ARM)
- programming and debugging in PIC assembly language
- technical CAD drawings for laser cutting
- design our own circuit boards
- small run manufacturing with our own inhouse 3D drawing and printing capabilities
